So as of January 5th, 2011, our wonderful school decides to block, not only everything at school, but at home too! GREAT! I understand they are trying to keep us safe and protected, but I wish they would give us a little more freedom at home...I mean really? Block Facebook at home? I know that some of the students have taken advantage of this privilege, but is there a way to block just them, and not everyone else? :( Students, I say run and hide, because if your computer can still access facebook, youtube, etc. then you better hope you can keep it for as long as you can! I wish there was a way you could set restrictions on some applications and websites and not necessarily block them. That would be huge! :) I love how our school keeps searching for new ways to help us learn, but every which-away the plan turns into chaos! For instance, next year, they plan to put us on a blocked schedule, giving us four classes between the two semesters, and getting out earlier. Good Deal! Though, I am preparing for the worst, because as I have anticipated for a more modern way to learn, it has ended up in all of my good go-to-sites-for-research have been...BLOCKED! OH WELL! Apparently, it's all for the best. Eventually, I might intend to turn my computer in for textbooks, because my problems would be solved, and I would not have to worry about sinking into deeper water.
